Badddd Thomas

Never dated this guy but thought it would be funny to mention. My first kiss was from and guy that slept with sheep for fun, not warmth.

Switching Cities

I had a job change in 2002 and moved from Atlanta to Charlotte. One of the biggest and exciting things I’ve done in some time. The hopes of dating in a different city and wishing for a real connection. These are my dates since I have moved.

Everything I do is a Sin…..

WOW! Call out the nuns with the rulers, this one deserves the stockades. For years my priest had ask me to date a nice catholic boy so I finally got on a catholic website and met one. Very nice, polite and from a nice catholic family. Everything in the beginning was normal. After a few months when the relationship became physical I found out I was dating a 31 year old virgin. Yes another one! I find them all I think. When he made the decision to lose it, he really lost it! We would spend the weekend together but only had sex on Friday because he would need to go to confession on Saturday so he could take communion on Sunday. I still roll my eyes over this.

And now the evening news…..

Tom was a very unusual guy for his age. He didn’t date alone, travel alone or think alone. Yes everything had to be cleared through a guy friend and his girl. I have never dated a co dependent person so this was quite an experience. After 3 months, I was tired of dating 3 people and ended it with just one. I ask Tom to pass the message on to the others that we are breaking up. I’m still wondering if there was an attraction between Tom and his male friend. Probably better not to know.

Another Sexy Italian

Ahh, yes Philip was dark and handsome and spoke the language of love. Everything you expect from an Italian. What a great couple of months with him. We went on vacations, talked about getting serious but the clash of interest in a family ended this lovely relationship. Also the fact there was no flare of tempers, odd for an Italian.

The last lawyer I ever date.

Dan was tall, gangly and smart. He was very intelligent, funny and over shared all the time. I know this should have been the BIG RED FLAG but I thought I would give him the benefit of the doubt after he shared what was wrong with his first and only relationship during our three hour dinner. Only the last hour I was able to speak about me. After only a few weeks of dating, I found out he was sleeping with a married coworker and I was the cover up for his friends and family. I really feel for the guy but worse for the world he defense.

Coma Guy

Sean was a gorgeous blond, blue eyed guy with a nice smile. BIG PROBLEM: I couldn’t stay awake around him. How do you have a conversation with someone who likes only two bands and doesn’t leave the house except if you count cyberspace to play video games. I will give him brownie points on being a gentleman and having his stuff together on wanting to settle down, but is it such an inconvenience to ask for a personality?

Well, well, well. I have finally decide to join the world of blogging. I am doing this mostly to explore the possibility of doing a book on my dating adventures. Over the years I am like most women, I am searching for Mr. Right. My mother and the rest of my family laugh over the tales from my endless parade of odd, boring and just plain psychos that I tend to attract on a regular basis. For the moment I am taking a break to regroup and to figure out what is it about me that seems to attract every strange guy within a 50 mile radius. I hope you will laugh with me through this journey.

Please note: The names of all guys have been changed due to my lack of a good memory.
